Freshman Med Student

Just upon typing the title of this blog brought butterflies in my stomach. The same feeling I had on my first day of being a freshman med student @ University of Perpetual Help Rizal JONELTA. I know I promised a list of online study sources for NMAT but please let me blog this one first and share with you guys my first 2 weeks in Med school :)

On my first day I had mixed feelings, kindda giddy because i wasn't able to get enough sleep, too much excitement may be?; feeling anxious but at the same time excited probably because of new faces from new classmates and profs tapos ang dami kong ina-anticipate na kung ano ano lang; kindda nervous din kasi nga first day of school but I was happy and blessed, that kind of feeling na I'm one day closer in reaching my dream of becoming a doctor :)

On our first day we were divided into groups kaagad kaya even though I wasn't planning of befriending anyone just yet since very early pa ayon sa awa ng Diyos I got into a group na super duper love ko hahaha. Just like what my friend, Sy said "Reasons why gumagaan ang mabigat na load ng pagpasok araw-araw sa medschool."  They are the reasons:

TEAM #HUGOT

It was for our Pedagogy course for 4 days. Knowing about ourselves more and  in return knowing each other as well, our strength and weaknesses, inspiration and aspiration, etc. We learned that we are totally different from one another (Ex. one would rather wait than let others wait for her and the other would rather be late than wait for anyone hehe.) but we all got along so well kaagad on that very first day, we were even the noisiest group sharing inside the classroom, as if it wasn't our first day:)

On our 2nd Day this was how we spent it aside from Pedagogy class. We really enjoyed the moment. It was one hell of living a life as for me (di ko naman kailangan uminom or mag party para ma-experience ang YOLO hehe). It was really fun.

After class @ Ian's car heading somewhere I don't know hehe

Tapos dito kami bumagsak sa Sta. Rosa, Laguna
dahil sa masarap na Bulalo ay napalayo kami
Time Zone!! Pinagtitinginan na ng mga tao pero sige lang ng sige hehe

At di pa kami nakontento nag The Fault in Our Stars pa :)

On the 3rd Day we just had another enjoying Pedagogy class. They give us an assignment which was to create a presentation wherein we can incorporate our learning in Pedagogy class. We decided to create a movie-type kind of presentation. So even though it was a holiday on Thursday since Independence Day, we dedicated it in creating our presentation.

mE!! casted as "the settler"
we're busy acting hahaha
parang alam ang ginagawa eh no?

Trix!! Bagay:)
Arte arte din pag may time:)
busy kami :)
It's a wrap guyz:)

All in all it that had been a tiring but a very wonderful day. We even had a wonderful presentation too. All of us did :) Sulit naman ang sacrifice during the holiday:) Our first week had been a blast. Getting to know each other, getting along so well, having fun and enjoying the remaining days of stress-free-exam-free-days of ours habang hindi pa daw kami toxic sa BIOCHEM, PHYSIO, PSYHCIA, ANATOMY, HISTOLOGY, MEDICAL PRACTICE & PREV.MED (our courses for this semester).

We also had our Cadaver waxed kanina on our Gross Anatomy laboratory session. It wasn't quite what I had expected but nevertheless I wasn't disappointed. Seeing and holding a cadaver isn't so bad after all.

Ito na pala kami ngayong 2nd week after our Pre-long test in Biochem that made our heads go merry-go-round. Nakakangiti pa naman kahit papano. Nakakagutom ang exam kaya sa Shakey's sa tapat namin kami bumagsak. Officially we started our lessons for every subject this week. Nag haha-hang na rin mga brain cells namin due to information overload. Pero syempre kakayanin.

Mahirap ang Medicine but meeting and having them as friends
in med school is one of the best things that ever happened to me.
Huwag kayong magbabago guyz:)

Masaya dito sa JONELTA!
